Interior Minister Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak has called on the governing council of the Ghana Immigration Service to recommend solutions to address promotion challenges within the Service.
The Minister emphasized the need for merit-based promotions to boost staff morale and performance.
At a recent meeting, Muntaka Mubarak urged the council to suggest concrete solutions to ensure fairness and transparency in the promotion process.
He noted that the current challenges have been affecting the Service’s operations and called for a comprehensive review to address the issues.
He also assured the council of his commitment to supporting the Service and addressing the challenges facing it.
Th minister emphasized the importance of a well-functioning immigration service in maintaining national security and facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
