Interior Ministry declares Friday, December 5, 2025, a public holiday

The Ministry of the Interior has issued an urgent advisory to the public as heavy rainfall continues to impact several parts of the country. The warning, shared via the Ministry’s official Facebook page, urges Ghanaians to be vigilant and prepared as flooding may occur suddenly and without warning.

In response to the ongoing weather conditions, the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) and the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) have released updated emergency contact numbers to ensure rapid response during emergencies.
