Global water Production Company, Jibu has set its foot in the Ghanaian market, promising to provide Ghanaians nothing but the best, in safe potable purified drinking water.

The brand which has its footprint in East Africa predominantly, has Ghana as the first West African country to enjoy the Jibu brand and looks at having Ghana as its hub for West African production.

Jibu believes in producing quality and affordable water to the people of Ghana and also creating employment through its franchises in the process.

The Jibu brand believes in partnerships with entrepreneurs to own business and creating employment in areas they operate in. Jibu equips persons interested in owning the franchise with startup loans and supporting them with the requisite knowledge to thrive.

The first corporate store of Jibu is situated in Madina and the brand seeks to expand to other parts of the capital, being more efficient and helping reduce unemployment in Ghana.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jibu, Galen Welsch had this to say at the grand opening of the Ghana Corporate store; “Jibu was launched as a social enterprise mission and we want to equip local entrepreneurs to own their own water business and we invest in creating a water treatment plant and sales point in an active business district. Jibu Madina is our first office and we plan on growing in Ghana.”

He described Ghana as a perfect place for its West Africa operations because they (Jibu) realized it is quite expensive to produce sachet water “and we want the people of Ghana to choose refills instead of purchasing sachet water.”
About Jibu

Jibu, Inc is a for-profit social enterprise that prioritizes impact in our communities. Our hybrid approach stimulates responsible economic growth and independence.

Through local entrepreneurship we produce safe drinking water as well as supply other essential products like LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) and fortified porridge and sell them at affordable prices in the communities served.

While drinking water is our immediate focus, our ultimate goal is to launch a network of independent franchise owners who, with high visibility retail storefronts and proven business acumen, are poised to revolutionize the African landscape while paving the way for developed world resources to become more effectively deployed in emerging markets.

The Jibu ecosystem is made of Jibu, Inc (founding franchisor), Jibu Area Master Franchisors (AMFs), and Jibu Franchisees.
