John Mahama is the most loved public figure by Ghanaian Women – Study reveals

A study has revealed that Former President John Mahama is the most admired, respected and loved public figure among a majority of Ghanaian women.

AfriGov, a market research agency, conducted the study to help define Ghanaian women socially, behaviorally and economically.

The findings of the research, which were released on Saturday, ended up putting Former President John Mahama ahead of President Akufo-Addo, First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, former first lady Lordina Mahama and other prominent Africans.

Among the top 10 role models for Ghanaian women contained in the report, only five are ladies while two others, who are foreigners being Presidents – Paul Kigame and Emmanuel Macron.

The research also found out that more Ghanaian women have become politically active and eyeing actualising property inheritance right.

According to the report, nearly nine out of ten (10) Ghanaians say they have a favourable view of John Mahama. The findings show a majority of Ghanaians believe that his intentions were right and they are willing to give him the benefit of doubt.

More than eight in ten say the economic conditions under Mahama were far better than they witnessing currently.
