Deputy National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Hamidu Akamba, is not backing down after stating that he has no regrets for what he did at Tempane Senior High School in the Northern Region.
Mr. Akamba has been slammed after he was seen in a video asking students if they would vote for the NPP in 2020 based on the challenges they are facing in the school.
However, during an interview on Happy FM’s Epa Hoa Daben show, Akamba said, “I will do what I did over and over again. I’m still in pain because of the state I saw the kids in; every Ghanaian will do that if they found themselves in that state.”
Mr. Akamba posited that he has received calls from NGOs and individuals who have pledged to help the school resolve the challenge.
Meanwhile, the outspoken NDC member was invited by the police following the viral video, which captured him inciting students at Tempane SHS against President Akufo-Addo.
