The Eastern regional chairman of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Tawiah Boateng, has poured cool water on the much touted credibility of the Accra-based Joy FM belonging to the Multimedia stables of Kwesi Twum.
According to the NDC’s regional scribe, a radio station that calls elections for political parties is not a credible station to listen to.
He said he is not bothered about what Joy FM and the likes of Daily Guide published about the Kwesi Botchwey report because they are not credible when it comes to the dissemination of information to entertain and educate.
Tawiah Boateng made this comment on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show on Happy FM in reaction to the serial publications of aspects of the report by Joy FM and Daily Guide in Accra.
He said he is not bothered about what a station like ‘Joy FM’ publishes about his person because a station that publishes contrary election result is not a station that must be held up high.
He said if Joy FM feels they have gotten it right on the leaked Kwesi Botchwey report is wrong adding that ‘’am waiting patiently for the National Executive members of the party to tell the world how much the party spent on the last elections before I can be accused of any wrong doings as the leader of the party in the region.”
