A wave of enthusiastic support greeted Kennedy Agyapong at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Headquarters today, August 27, 2025, as he officially submitted his nomination forms to contest for the party’s leadership.

Hundreds of party faithful rallied behind the Assin Central MP, chanting slogans and waving placards in a show of solidarity.

Speaking to Happy Kaseɛbɔ, some supporters expressed unwavering confidence in Agyapong’s ability to lead the NPP into a new era of accountability and reform.

“Kennedy Agyapong is the right man for the job,” one supporter declared. “He has proven himself through years of dedicated service in Parliament, and we believe he can restore discipline and transparency within the party.”

Supporters emphasized that Agyapong’s fearless approach to leadership and his commitment to demanding accountability from party executives make him the ideal candidate to unify the NPP and position it for victory in the 2028 general elections.

“He’s not afraid to speak truth to power,” another added. “He’ll keep party leaders on their toes and ensure that the right structures are in place for success.”
