Kenpong Academy meets Management of Winneba Hospital

The Management of Kenpong Football Academy has met their counterparts of the Winneba Municipal Hospital to discuss issues of health and relationship between the two bodies .


The meeting was also used to officially introduce themselves to each other and strengthen ties among them . The Hospital has been attending to the players and staff of Kenpong Academy ,owned by businessman Kennedy Somuah Agyapong and located at Winneba .

The meeting was used by the Chief Executive Officer of Kenpong Academy Thomas Boakye-Agyeman to express his gratefulness to the management and staff of Winneba Municipal Hospital for attending to the academy at critical moments and opening their doors to them always .

Dr Akwasi Bota,Medical Superintendent of Winneba Municipal hospital welcomed the delegation and said he is happy about the visit and commended Kenpong Academy adding that “Lots of people come here and we also deal with other institutions . Your academy boys are very different when they come here ,even how they dress and you can see they are being trained very well on behaviour and other things”.

He pledged the Management’s desire to always help others and asked Kenpong not to hesitate on knocking their doors any day as the Academy has been very professional in dealing with the health issues of their players and staff.

Coach Oti Akenten,the technical director of the Academy,Frederick Kalle,academy team nurse who also work with the hospital and Isaac Yaw Tanor,Physiotherapist were all part of the Kenpong delegation while Theophilus Nii Laryea, accountant at the hospital and Bernice Gyebi ,a Physician Assistant were all present at the meeting .
