Keta Business College (KETABUSCO) has beaten Mfantsipim School for the second time to clinch the 2020 Sprite Ball Championship.

KETABUSCO beat Mfantsipim 48-40 in the Boys Division Final game before a packed El Wak Stadium in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

Mfantsipim trailed through the entire contest finding it hard to get into the KETABUSCO painted area and was forced to score from three point range which proved unsuccessful till the final quarter.

Nana Opoku Amusah drained a pair of three point shots to make the contest close after KETABUSCO looked to run away with a double digit win margin.

Richmond Dzikunu proved a live wire act alongside stalwarts Propser Davor and Prince Gidisu with layups off strong drives to the basket.

Daniel Setordzi added a couple of three point shots in a dominant run that pushed his side’s 20-13 first half lead to 30-19 heading to the final quarter.

The win was Mfantsipim’s second loss to KETABUSCO in the competition after losing 24-32 in the first game of this year’s tournament.

West Africa Senior High School beat Prempeh College 20-15 to win the competition’s bronze medal game. West Africa Senior High won silver in the 2019 competition.

Prince Gidisi and Senyo Ashiagbor from KETABUSCO won the Boys Most Valuable Player and Coach of the Tournament Awards respectively.
