The Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, in partnership with the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) and various private companies, has organized a job fair aimed at addressing youth unemployment in her constituency.

The job fair, which took place within the constituency, was not only focused on offering immediate job opportunities but also sought to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in Ghana’s competitive job market.

Addressing participants Deputy Chief Executive Officer of YEA in charge of Operations, Abubakar Abdul-Kudus Saana, emphasized the importance of the initiative.

He highlighted that Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings remains deeply committed to resolving the issue of youth unemployment in Klottey Korle.

Her continuous engagement with the YEA, according to him, underscores her dedication to finding sustainable solutions for young people in the area.

Mr. Saana reaffirmed the YEA’s mandate to create employment opportunities for the youth across the country.

He noted that the high rate of youth unemployment is a pressing concern and initiatives such as this job fair form part of the agency’s broader efforts to tackle the problem.

He said through strategic partnerships with numerous private companies, the YEA is working to bridge the gap between job seekers and potential employers.

He urged young people to take full advantage of these interventions, stating that such platforms are designed to connect them with meaningful career prospects and empower them economically.
