The Chair of the Normalization Committee,(NC) Dr. Kofi Amoah has commended Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his efforts to restore Ghana football and trusting the NC with that mandate.
He made these comments in a pre-recorded video that was played as part of preliminary activities at the ongoing Happy FM-led Ghana Football Association presidential debate.
‘’I must commend the president of the Republic Nana Akufo Addo for supporting the NC and putting structures in place to aid the restoration of Ghana football to its glorious state. Making the game we love as a country clean and great once more’’ he noted.
Dr. Kofi Amoah also enumerated the high and low moments of Ghana football.
‘’ As a football loving country we have seen it all from the Black Stars qualification to the world cup and the Black Satellites Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) world cup trophy win down to Asamoah Gyan’s penalty miss in our world cup match against Uruguay’’ he narrated.
In the aftermath of the Anas’ exposé the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Management Committees of the various national teams were disbanded.
As part of the Normalisation Committee’s (N.C) grand agenda to ensure Ghana’s return to its glorious state of a football nation the NC of Ghana football scheduled a Presidential election for 25th of October,2019.
Five out of the six presidential candidates are currently at the College of Surgeons and Physicians for an in-person debate. They are: Amanda Clinton, Fred Pappoe, Kurt E.S. Okraku, Nana Yaw Amponsah, and George Ankomah Mensah.
