The Deputy Director of Communications for the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC); Kweku Boahen has indicated that the arrest of the party’s Deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho has firmly united party for the 2020 elections.
He explained that the arrest has united the party for victory come 2020.
He noted that if it has not been the arrest deputy scribe he would not have known how united the party is a year after leaving office.
The NDC communications kingpin made this known interacting with Nyasa Boakwa on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show on Accra-based Happy FM.
He said the arrest has rekindled unity in the party and come 2020 the people of Ghana will speak.
He cautioned other communicators of the party to be wary of what they say on radio across the country.
He claimed that even though the 1992 Constitution has given right to free speech but ‘they should be circumspect in what you say on radio.’
He told host of the Deputy General Secretary has been released and that he (Koku) visited the party office to attend to his usual Tuesday’s Functional Executives Meetings.
