Highlife artiste, Kwaisey Pee has tipped signee of Lynx Entertainment, Kuami Eugene to win the Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019 even though submission for entries has not yet opened.

According to Kwaisey Pee, Kuami Eugene deserves the ultimate award of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, one of the nation’s biggest award schemes because he worked harder than all the Ghanaian artistes in the year under review.

“Kuami Eugene has about five songs making waves and he performed in all the major concerts that happened in the country.”

“In addition to that, all the songs he featured on were hits too and I would be surprised if he does not win the VGMA Artiste of the Year come next year,” Kwaisey Pee told Showbiz in an interview recently.

According to the ‘Mehia Odo‘ hitmaker, he wouldn’t mind collaborating with him (Kuami Eugene) because he is currently the hottest artiste at the moment.

“That dude will go places. With the kind of songs the young man is churning out, I have no doubts Kuami Eugene will go far” he said.

Aside from tipping Kuami Eugene to win VGMA Artiste of the Year, Kwaisey Pee praised musicians such as KiDi and King Promise for also performing fantastically on the music scene.

Kuami Eugene has had successful collaborations with other artists like TiC formerly known as Tic Tac, Davido, MzVee, Adina, Strongman just to mention a few.
