YFM is turning up the heat at the 5th annual Ankaase Lakeside Party on Monday, April 21, 2025, with an explosive lineup showcasing the very best of Kumasi’s vibrant rap scene.

This year’s edition promises an unforgettable experience, exclusively featuring Ashanti Region’s hottest artistes in a non-stop musical extravaganza.

Forget the usual suspects; YFM is bringing the raw talent straight from the heart of Kumasi. Prepare for a sonic journey as these rap titans deliver back-to-back hits, transforming Ankaase into the ultimate party destination.

Ernest Opoku, Y102.5FM’s Event Manager, expressed his excitement, stating, “It’s incredible to witness the rise of Kumasi’s rappers. They’re dominating the national stage, and we’re thrilled to showcase their talent at this special edition.”

He reminisced the past challenges of headlining events with local artists, noting, “Times have changed, and these artists are proving they belong on the biggest platforms.”

Headlining the event is none other than Strongman, the lyrical maestro known for his electrifying performances and chart-topping tracks like “Pilolo,” “Mokobe,” and “Bossu.” Prepare for a barrage of hard-hitting bars and infectious energy as he sets the lakeside ablaze.

Joining Strongman is the formidable O’Kenneth, representing the Asakaa Music Group. With hits like “Lonely Road,” “Agyeiwaa,” and “Glory In Pain,” O’Kenneth’s versatility and unique style will undoubtedly leave the crowd wanting more.

Nathaniel Osei Kufuor, General Manager of YFM-Kumasi, promises an experience beyond the music. “This year, we’re transforming Ankaase into a weekend getaway,” he revealed.

“Enjoy pre-event activities on Saturday and Sunday, including camping under the stars.”

Camping tents are available for pre-order, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in the lakeside atmosphere before the main event.

For those looking to extend their lakeside adventure, camping tent reservations can be made by calling 0553252722.

Tickets are available at the gate for a cool GH₵50.00, or grab an early bird ticket for GH₵45.00 by calling 0243412432.

For the ultimate party package, pay GH₵100.00 for a bus ride from Kumasi to Ankaase, complete with exclusive perks. You can also secure your tickets conveniently via the shortcode 71333*14#
