The Communications Director for Legon Cities FC, Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang has disclosed that Legon Cities would oblige to the Fines imposed on the club by the Ghana Football Association( GFA).

This comes after the GFA Disciplinary Committee imposed a fine of Ghc8000 cedis on Legon Cities FC after being found guilty on three counts of misconduct in their betPawa Premier League Matchday 1 against Medeama SC at the El Wak Stadium.

Speaking in an interview on Happy FM, Mr Agyemang confirmed that Legon cities have received the ruling from the GFA and they would duly oblige.

“The ruling has come, whatever fines we have being sanctioned, we would pay.

“Though we wished this would not have been the case, we would go by the ruling and would pay what we have to”.He told Ohene Bampoe Brenya on Happy Sports.

He further clarified that, the 5-match ban handed Micheal Ampadu would not be appealed by club.

“ He has already missed about 2 Matches, there are thirty four(34) matches to be played in the league season alone and if he missed five(5) it means he would be available for twenty nine(29) matches if he is not injured or suspended and it is all part of the game so at this point we would go by all the sanctions given us by the GFA” he added.
