Ghanaian spiritualist, Kweku Lucifer, has asserted that life would have been easier for Christians if prophets had added herbalism to their teachings.

He clarified in an interview with Pastor Nyansa Boakwa on Nsem Pii, which airs on Happy fm, that being a herbalist or medicine man does not exactly require the use of juju. Also, there are a lot of things that people can do simply with herbs and not have to go in for juju.

“If people allow prophets to teach about herbs, no member of their church would ever suffer. Herbs work differently from juju and they work even faster than juju but people tend to go in more for juju because they do not know this”, he said.

Lucifer revealed that if one wants to shield his or her skin from bullet penetrations, just a simple herb is required. However, a lot of people are oblivious to this knowledge, hence they would rather go in for juju.

“These things that they have taken out of religion is what has caused the downfall of many followers. It has been condemned just so that the learned herbalist can get you what you need at a fee”, he confessed.

According to the spiritualist, God did not create specific people to be herbalists and He did not make these herbal remedies known only to herbalists. He noted that studying and using herbs is totally different from spiritualism, hence anyone can become a herbalist.
