Organized in partnership with Genius Rosa and regulated by the National Lottery Authority (NLA) on the Caritas Lottery Platform, the event exceeded expectations, engaging over 850,000 people across Ghana.
Speaking at the grand draw event, Mr. Dennis Adutwum, CEO of the Luckiest, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response, noting that the campaign had been visible on every platform, spreading luck and excitement nationwide. “This year was our brand positioning year, and we couldn’t be more grateful for what we’ve achieved,” he said.
The success of the event has prompted plans to expand the “Luckiest” concept to Nigeria and other African countries in the coming year. “Next year is going to be bigger, better and we’re going to increase our CSR efforts,” Adutwum announced.
A highlight of the initiative is its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), with a significant portion of funds raised allocated to community development projects.
The NLA’s Caritas Lottery Platform has supported various social responsibility programs across Ghana, with the current platform having around GH¢7.6 million.
The Marketing Director of NLA, welcomed Mr. Sammy Awuku, the immediate past Director-General of NLA, who played a crucial role in establishing the Caritas Lottery Platform. Under his leadership, the platform grew from zero to GH¢11.6 million.
The NLA aims to continue supporting such initiatives to impact lives across the country. “Any activity without NLA approval is considered illegal,” the Marketing Director emphasized, expressing gratitude to Dennis Adutwum and Genius Rosa for promoting the “Luckiest” activity.
