A member of the governing New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) communications team says the former President John Dramani Mahama is the most resourceful candidate in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He said not in terms of wealth but Mahama has a lot of potentials that the other aspirants do not have.
Mr Asamoah Gyamfi maade this comment on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show hosted by Kwame Afrifa-Mensah on Accra-based Happy FM.
He went further to say that although Mahama is very strong and powerful in NDC, if the NDC should repeat Mahama for president in 2020, Ghanaians will still not vote for him but the truth still remains that the party’s spirit is in Mahama.
On the contrary, it will be a cool chop for the NPP to win if he should contest the 2020 elections.
According to Mr. Gyamfi packaging negative things about an old candidate is very easy than a new candidate because with that the NPP will not have much to say about him.
But he NPP is ready to compete with anybody the NDC chooses to contest the 2020 elections.
