President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to regional development, promising transformative projects under the Big Push Infrastructure Program.
Speaking during his Thank You Tour in the Upper West Region, he assured residents that their voices have been heard and their votes will translate into tangible progress.
“We are determined, under the guidance of the NDC 2024 manifesto, to bring transformational change to every corner of Ghana, and especially to regions like the Upper West that have long been underdeveloped despite their huge potential,”.
A significant focus of the upcoming projects will be on road infrastructure, including the dualization of major highways such as: Accra-Kumasi Road, Accra-Takoradi Road, and Accra-Aflao Road.
Additionally, President Mahama mentioned that, work will be undertaken on major bridges, including: Dambai Bridge, Rehabilitation of Buipe Bridge, Yapi Bridge among others.
President Mahama emphasized that the cabinet will soon approve these priority projects, ensuring that Ghana’s transportation network sees major improvements.
