Following the major destruction of three widely known nuclear sites in Iran — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan — by the U.S., President Donald Trump has urged Iranian forces to consider peaceful resolutions with Israel.
Over the weekend, the U.S. carried out precision strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, an operation Trump described in a national address from Washington as a “successful strike.”
Labeling Iran a state sponsor of terror, Trump emphasized that the mission aimed to eliminate what he called “the nuclear threat posed” by the regime.
“Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely, totally obliterated,” he declared.
Trump called on Iranian leaders to engage in peace talks or prepare for more intense retaliation. “Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier,” he warned.
