The Technical Director for Inter Allies Football Club, Willie Klutse says Malik Jabir is the best person to succeed Francis Oti Akenteng as the Technical Director for the Ghana Football Association.

Francis Oti-Akenteng who held the mandate for 14 years left the role after the expiration of his contract last month. The GFA has opened up for interested people to apply for the job.

Happy Sports understands that the GFA has received a lot of applications and the selection process is set to begin next week.

Speaking on Happy Sports on who can replace Oti Akenteng as the next GFA Technical Director, Willie Klutse said,
“For now the person who has the knowledge, skills, integrity to do the job is Malik Jabir.
There are some people that we have to show them respect and approach them. But if they consult him, he will like to come and help”.

He added that there is no need for the GFA to go in for an expatriate coach as there are a lot of Ghanaian coaches who are qualified to do the job.

“I don’t think we need an expatriate to head our technical directorate. We have a lot of qualified people in this country”.

“Most of the problems in Ghana is on the domestic front and somebody coming from outside will find it difficult to handle”.

“So we must find someone who knows our problems and we have people here in Ghana to do that job”.

“If we are forming a technical directorate I suggest we give that person all the resources to be able to work”, he ended.
