Executive Chairman of the Tobinco Group, Mr. Samuel Amo Tobbin has rewarded the playing body of GPL champions, Medeama SC with an amount of GHC 100,000 and promised to support the Club ahead of the CAF Champions League campaign.
Medeama SC presented the trophy to the Tobinco Group of Companies this afternoon at their head office.
The Tarkwa-based club also paid a courtesy call to Parliament today as they presented the GPL trophy to the Speaker.
The Speaker, Alban Bagbin also donated GHC 100,000 to the Tarkwa Based side as a pledge to support the club ahead of their CAF Champions League campaign next season.
Medeama SC won their maiden Ghana Premier League title following a 3-0 victory over Tamale City on Sunday, June 11.
The Mauve and Yellow team went into the final day of the season needing just a point to beat rivals Bechem United to the title.
As Premier League champions, Medeama SC has booked a spot in the upcoming CAF Champions League.
