Medeama will beat Kotoko in Tarkwa – Akoto

Public Relations Officer of Medeama SC, Patrick Akoto insists his outfit are well poised to pick maximum points off Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Week 3 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Yellow and Mauves will welcome the Porcupine Warriors to the Tarkwa T&A Park on match day three of the ongoing league campaign.
Coach Samuel Boadu’s side will aim to return to winning ways following their 2-0 defeat to Bechem United at the Nana Gyeabour Park last Sunday
And speaking to Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports, the club’s scribe posited that despite their abysmal home record against the Reds, they will come out from the encounter unscathed.
“We need to return to winning ways and to do that, we have to get a good result against Kotoko and that result is to beat them,” Akoto declared on Happy FM.
He added, “The game will be normal. It will be like picking three points against Karela FC, Techiman Eleven Wonders or let’s say Dreams FC but on the balance of sheet, Kotoko are a big club and as we all know they have a better record against us in Tarkwa hence they will come into the game with bags of confidence but I can assure our supporters that at the end of the match, Medeama will triumph.”
Medeama occupy 7th on the league standings with 3 points after two matches while Asante Kotoko sit 3rd with four points.
