Consummate Ghanaian TV personality and host of the Girl Vibes programme on e.tv Ghana, Mercy Buabeng famously identified as Mercy Bee the ‘Ekumfi Princess’, has started the year gloriously with a nomination for the “Host of the Year” at the Social Media Excellence Awards

The Ekumfi Princess has over the period left her mark as one of the sensational talents in the media space – well known for her works as the Host of e.tv Ghana’s Girl Vibes and Countdown to Christmas. It is hardly surprising that she has accomplished this amazing feat given her eloquence on screen and diligence behind the scenes.

Having enlisted as potentially the “Host of the Year” for the second edition of the Social Media Excellence Awards, Mercy Bee shared, “It’s always an overwhelming feeling and an honour to get recognized in this competitive industry. This is only possible with my team at e.tv Ghana and the support from those who cherish me the most in life. Hopefully we bag this win and keep the fire more lit.”

Speaking on her nomination, the Programmes Manager of e.tv Ghana, Miss Bridget Mensah said, “Working with Mercy Bee is one of the things I enjoy in my line of work. Talk of dedication, diligence and passion for her work. She ticks all the boxes. I’m very elated to have her on my team because she always proves to be a real champion. We know she’s going to seal this first award this year and go to make an impact with her work.”

Social Media Excellence Awards also known as “SOME Awards” is an Annual awards scheme that celebrates individuals and online businesses around Ghana crashing through the algorithms and channelizing the chatter to create innovative, meaningful engagement that produces tangible results. This Event is organized by Gh Events, a trusted and registered event firm the same organizers of the Accra Music and Arts Festival headed by Newman Kweku Prince and other creative minds in the Ghanaian industry.
