Fast rising middleweight slugger Kofi Manu says his winning streak will continue even against undefeated knockout- specialist Felix Mankattah as the two clash as undercard on October 5 at the A Plaza Hotel at Dzodze in the Volta Region.

The night of October 5, will witness a headline clash involving Dodzi Kemeh and Daniel Aduku for the vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) Africa super welterweight title.
Manu popularly referred to as ‘The Tiger’ among his supporters is coming into the bout on the back of three successive wins all by way of knockout in his recent bouts having suffered three successive lossess in his earlier endeavour between the year 2012 to 2013.

The boxer who trains with Mensah Nelson, a brother to legendary fighter Azumah Nelson, believes he is not going backwards but surging forward to get a world title shot.
“At training I spar well, I hit mitts hard, I do a lot of pad work, hitherto I wasn’t doing all that, but now I am focused and I feel very strong and athletic,” he told the Graphic Sports in an interview in Accra last Thursday.

Kofi who is not all too happy of his professional boxing record which comprises 13 fights including nine losess and four wins has vowed never to lose again, not less to Mankattah.
“ I am now very serious with my career, I will spoil Mankattah’s record, I will stop him,” he told this paper.

Mankattah who has stopped all but one of his opponents in all seven professional fights will serve as a litmus test for the over-confident Manu.
Both fighters are believed to be serious preparing for the bout as they intensify their training regimen ahead of the all important clash at Dodze.
