The Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has issued a public apology on the floor of Parliament, taking full responsibility for the chaotic events that unfolded during last week’s vetting process.

In his statement on the floor of Parliament on Tuesday, February 4, he assured the public that such incidents would not occur again, expressing regret over the disruption caused.

He acknowledged his leadership role and stressed his commitment to ensuring that the actions leading to the chaos would not be repeated in the future. He assured the House and the public that his caucus would take necessary steps to prevent such occurrences, urging for careful consideration of the matter by the Speaker.
