Known in showbiz circles as Akuapem Poloo, the actress who has garnered huge following on social media has expressed her pain over other celebrities in the country thinking lowly of her.

Speaking in an interview with Happy FM’s award winning DJ Advicer on the Ayekoo After Drive, the distressed actress revealed that some celebrities in the industry treat her as an uncultured illiterate who is good for nothing per their brands.

She revealed that this issue of disrespect and disregard heightened when she appeared at Cardi B’s meet and greet.

“Some of them were surprised to see me there. They figured I was way out of their league and not fit to meet with Cardi B. Some celebrities in the industry see me as an illiterate who is good for nothing,” she said.

According to the ever humble Akuapem Poloo, though her fellows in the industry disregard her, she is ever ready to work with them should the need arise.

After what seemed to be an embarrassment from Akuapem Poloo at the Cardi B’s Meet and Greet program in December last year, it was a clear surprise to Ghanaians that the actress gained recognition from Cardi B on Instagram after her twerking and rolling with Cardi B at the Kempinski  Hotel in Accra.
