Munchee Biscuits Ghana, a leading brand in the food and beverage industry, has partnered with Mezzo House Limited to commemorate the 2025 International Mathematics Day. In line with the celebration, Munchee Ghana donated GHS 30,000 to support the teaching and learning of mathematics and the organization of mathematics workshops for students.

At a press briefing held at the CBL West Africa Head Office, Munchee Ghana reaffirmed its commitment to education and youth empowerment, emphasizing the critical role of mathematics in shaping the future of innovation, technology, science, and national development.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Munchee Ghana, (Ranjith Herman Jayawardena) stated, “We believe in the power of education and the transformative impact it has on individuals, communities, and national development. Mathematics, as a foundational pillar of education, is not just a subject but a universal language that unlocks opportunities, solves problems, and drives progress.”

International Mathematics Day serves as a global platform to promote the relevance of mathematics in everyday life. It highlights its application in critical sectors, including finance, engineering, artificial intelligence, and scientific research.
Munchee Ghana’s donation to Mezzo House aligns with its broader mission to foster educational excellence in Ghana. The funding will facilitate hands-on mathematics workshops, provide learning materials, and enhance training for educators to ensure that mathematics is taught in an interactive and impactful manner.

“We understand that investing in education is investing in the future of our nation. Therefore, we appreciate entities whose efforts drive education in that direction,” added (Name). “We are particularly excited about our partnership with Mezzo House Limited, a powerhouse in mathematics education, and we believe that this initiative will go a long way in inspiring young minds and preparing them for the future.”

Mezzo House, known for its innovative approach to mathematics education, has been at the forefront of developing programs that simplify complex mathematical concepts, making learning enjoyable and effective for students. The donation from Munchee Ghana will further strengthen Mezzo House’s capacity to expand its reach and impact more students nationwide.

Munchee Ghana believes that mathematics is a key driver of national development, as it fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills that are essential in today’s rapidly evolving job market. By empowering students with these competencies, the company aims to contribute to the development of a skilled and innovative workforce in Ghana.

Munchee Ghana envisions a future where mathematics education in Ghana is robust, engaging, and inclusive. This partnership with Mezzo House is just the beginning of a larger goal to drive educational excellence and innovation in the country.

As Ghana joins the rest of the world in celebrating International Mathematics Day on 26th March 2025, Munchee Ghana encourages educators, parents, policymakers, and students to embrace mathematics as a tool for personal and national development.
