Ghanaian international Sulley Ali Muntari has recieved the backing of his coach Zdeněk Zeman following Pescara’s Seria A meeting with AC Milan on April 2.
Muntari who played for Milan between 2012-2015 before joining Pescara this season, has been charged to lead the biancazzurri when the host AC Milan.
According to Zeman, Muntari will keep a calm head and lead his team when he locks horn with his former teammates.
“He [Muntari] has experience and is able to lead the team just like the leader on the field does.” Zeman said.
The 32-year-old midfielder joined Pescara this season with a goal to his credit to prove his importance within the struggling biancazzurri who have a run of three consecutive defeats and will face Atalanta this weekend before hosting Milan.
