Ghanaian rapper, Kofi Jamar, says he cannot be associated with one particular genre of music as he can and does all genres.

According to him, he’s not dedicated to only one genre of music because he is a musician and as such believes he can do as many genres of music as he wants to.

He told Akua Sika on the Happy Evening Drive, “I started by doing hip pop, I’ve been doing highlife, I’ve been doing afro beat and I’ve also been doing pure rap music, but I still categorize myself as a musician because all the genres I do are under the umbrella of being a musician so I don’t think I belong to a specific genre”.

Kofi Jamar stated that he is still blending genres and mentioned that his fans should not be surprised if he is ever seen doing a gospel song, as he can switch it up at any time.

“An example is my current song ‘Tomorrow’. That song is a switch from what I’m known for doing and you will notice this only if you listen to most of my songs and do the comparison. You will realize that they are not the same and they always havea different switch to it,” he disclosed.
