Lawyer and member of the Normalisation Committee (NC) for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Naa Odofoley Nortey has disclosed that Duah Adonteng’s removal from the NC was a direct result of the Ghanaian media.

Speaking on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports she said, “I don’t know what happened with Duah Adonteng but I can assure you that whatever befell Duah Adonteng was as a direct result of the media.”

According to her, whilst the normalisation process was ongoing, literally every day 2 to 3 media people wrote to the media department of FIFA complaining about the performance of the NC.

She disclosed that the NC did not commend Dua Adonteng’s removal. “FIFA itself removed him. I am sure it is because they got tired of the petitions.”

Naa Odofoley is of the opinion that these complaints and many more were what caused Dua Adonteng’s removal from the NC.

She believes the FIFA media department is relieved the normalisation process has ended in Ghana.

Lawyer Dua Adonteng was sacked from the Normalisation Committee by FIFA and replaced by former Bayern Munich star Sammy Kuffuor.

Dua Adonteng however believed that a member of the NC was behind his removal from the $5000 per month job.
