Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is calling on the Electoral Commission (EC) to extend the limited voter registration deadline following disruptions and challenges on the first day of the exercise.
After visiting various registration centers in Accra, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang emphasized the need for the EC to make up for lost time, ensuring that everyone has a chance to register.
She suggested adding extra days or hours to the registration period to account for the time lost due to technical issues and other challenges, with the goal of facilitating a smooth and inclusive process
