Ms. Nana Aba Anamoah of GHOne TV, was adjudged the ‘Media Personality of the Year’ at the 2019 Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards held at the Accra International Conferece Center
Ms. Anamoah who saw off competition from the likes of Bernard Avle (Citi FM), Patrick Osei Agyemang (Adom TV) and Abeiku Santana (Okay FM) to win the biggest award on the night dedicated the award to her best friend of eight years ago who attempted ‘killing her shine’.
“I dedicate this to a best friend from eight years ago who dragged me…to a juju woman to destroy the love and affection Ghanaians, colleagues and bosses had for me at the time”, she captioned a group photograph on Instagram.
Ms. Anamoah did not only take home the ultimate prize but also won ’Television Development Show Host of the Year’
She took to her social media handle to thank her fans for voting for her to win these awards.
“To all those who voted for me, YOU ARE PERFECT. Thank you for your part in my journey. I don’t take it for granted”, she wrote.
Her greatest regrets however, is not forgiving her bestfriend soon enough.
”I am happy to see you doing your very best on TV. My biggest regret was not forgiving you early enough” she noted.
She prayed for her best friend of eight (8) years ago to also win these awards for her hardwork on television but was quick to add God loves a clean heart.
”I pray God blesses your efforts with one of these awards soon, I still love you” she said.
The awards gala saw lots of media personalities honored for excelling in their media-related duties.
