Nana Addo threw lavish party for Shatta Wale – Kweku Boahen reveals

The Deputy Director of Communications for the main opposition National Democratic Congress has revealed the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is only interested in wasting state moneys throwing needles parties at the Flag Staff House at the expense of well-meaning Ghanaians.
He said not only did the president present a plague to the musician but a lavish party was held in his honour at the Flag Staff House. I was saddened when I heard that the sitting president has called the famous dance hall artist, Shatta Wale to the Flag Staff House to party with him on the occasion of the latter’s birthday.
The opposition communications kingpin made this revelation on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ socio –political programme when he joined Kwame Afrifa Mensah on Accra-based Happy FM.
How will any serious and right thinking president use state resources in throwing a party for a musician like shatta Wale?  This shows how wasteful the Akufo-Addo’s is managing the state resources at his disposal he posited.
According to him, it is amazing how the president has turned the seat of government into a merry- making hub when Ghanaians are suffering under this regime.
He says first it was the president’s own birthday celebrations then came his twenty-five years marriage anniversary celebrations and the birthday of his wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo which were all celebrated at the seat of government.
He noted that the president has turned the seat of government into the hub of needless merry-making and the latest to benefit from his party largess is Shatta Wale.
