A former Municipal Chief Executive of Akuapem North, George Opare Addo has emerged National Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
At the end of a keenly contested election held on Saturday at the Pentecost Convention Centre at Gomoa Feteh in the Central Region, George Opare Addo, aka Pablo his closest challenger defeated Brogya Genfi, by 127 votes deference.
He polled 523 votes to beat former Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer who garnered 328 votes.
Wonder Madilo came third with a paltry 25 votes.
George, who is currently a Bachelor of Law candidate at the Ghana School of Law and has served twice as MCE, first under Prof John Evans Attah Mills and President John Mahama.
