The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vowed to defend all the eight (8) parliamentary seats the party won and in the region.

According to him, the party is ever ready to defend the seats especially the Obuasi East constituency seat.

“The NDC frowns upon the illegal re-collation and will not relent in protecting the mandate given to us by the people”.

The Ashanti Regional NDC in a statement mentioned that, the party is taking legal action to address the issues of re-collation and ensure that the rightful results are recognized.

He laid emphasis on some seats won in the Ahafo Ano North and South constituencies

“We are committed to ensuring a fair and transparent electoral process and will continue to stand firm in the efforts to uphold the will of the electorate”.

NDC Remains Committed to Defending All Eight (8) Seats in the Ashanti Region
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region is steadfast in defending all eight parliamentary seats that were won and declared in our favor, with particular emphasis on the Obuasi East seat. The Ndc frowns upon the illegal re collation and will not relent in protecting the mandates given to us by the people.
In light of concerns in Ahafo Ano North and Ahafo Ano South West constituencies, the NDC is taking legal action to address the issues and ensure the rightful results are recognized. We are committed to ensuring a fair and transparent electoral process and will continue to stand firm in our efforts to uphold the will of the electorate.
