NDC supporters urge President Mahama to avoid 'family and friends' governance

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has scheduled Saturday, May 13, 2023, for its presidential and parliamentary primaries.

Filing of nominations is billed from Wednesday, February 22 to Friday, February 24.

Also, submission and filing of forms will begin from Monday, March 20, 2023, to Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

At a press briefing in Accra, on Wednesday, January 18, General Secretary of the NDC, Fifi Kwetey said aspirants could either pick up nomination forms from the party’s website or its headquarters.

The fee for picking up forms goes for GH¢30,000 while the filing fee goes for GH¢500,000.

Meanwhile, the party’s leadership announced concessions for women and persons living with disabilities who will pay 50% of all charges should they decide to pick up forms to contest.

The party’s polls, according to the General Secretary will also be held in areas of Santrokofi, Akpafu, Lipke and Lolobi (SALL).

Parliamentary timetable

Picking up of forms will begin from Monday 22nd to 24th of February 2023 on the party’s website at a fee of GH¢5,000.

The submission fee is pegged at GH¢40,000 which will take place from March 20 to March 22.

Subsequently, vetting for the aspirants will be held from 27th to 29th March.
