
The newly elected leadership of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has paid a courtesy call on the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, at the GFA Headquarters in Accra on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
Led by Chairman John Ansah, the GHALCA delegation was warmly received by President Okraku and officials of the Football Association.
The meeting served as an official introduction of the new executives and a platform to discuss matters of shared interest concerning the growth and welfare of clubs across all levels of the domestic league structure.
Key issues discussed included strengthening administrative systems, enhancing support for club development initiatives, and reinforcing unity among stakeholders within Ghana football.
President Okraku congratulated the new GHALCA executives and expressed confidence in their ability to steer the association effectively. He noted the critical role institutional collaboration plays in achieving long-term progress across the football landscape.
On his part, Mr. Ansah thanked the GFA for the warm reception and reaffirmed GHALCA’s commitment to working closely with the Association to advance the cause of league clubs.
The meeting ended on a cordial note, with both parties pledging to deepen cooperation for the betterment of Ghana football.
