Newly elected Vice-president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mark Addo says he will align his vision with that of the president of the Football Association; Kurt Okraku to ensure that there is accountability and transparency in the game.

The Nzema Kotoko president polled six out of the eleven votes to be named the new vice-president of the FA. Randy Abbey polled four votes whilst Dr Aubynn had one vote.

In an interview after winning the election, he thanked the Executive Council members for voting for him.

“I thank my Executive Council members who had the confidence and voted for me to serve the country and also to support the president”.

“Basically, I have been in football for quite a while just that I have been in other businesses I am involved”.

“Everything that the president stated during his campaign, we want to bring accountability and transparency and sense of responsibility in everything we do”.

“We all know what happened in our game and we want to restore it to its former glory”, he concluded.

Mark Addo is the Chief Executive Officer of World Class IT solution Company and has played a pivotal role in other multinational global companies in the world.

He is also the Board Chairman for an independent Power Company and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics from the City College of New York.
