International Diplomatic Expert, Farouk Al-Wahab has posited that the Nigerian youth would have perished at the end SARS protests if the elite factor was eliminated from the equation.

According to him, the participation of the children of the affluent few in the SARS protest is what has preserved the lives of these young protesters.

He disclosed that government’s preceding the Buhari administration had supposedly dissolved the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) on several occasions but it was always resurrected.

“This leads to the frequent end SARS protests in Nigeria”.

He made this known in an interview with Happy 98.9FM’s, Epa Hoa Daben political talk show with Afrifa-Mensah.

“This time, the demonstration has not been undertaken by ordinary boys.
The kids of the billionaires and highly influential persons who have attended schools in the UK are those preventing the government from flushing these protesters off the streets”.

Because these kids and a multiplication of them are involved, let’s see how the government kills them all”, he added.

He commended the youth of Nigeria for undertaking the end SARS protest in a civil manner without incident.

Regardless of the Nigerian government having disbanded SARS, the youth of the country are still protesting.

Nigerian youth now want to see improvements in the various Nigerian institutions. They also want a fair representation in the country’s decision making bodies.
