NLA starts licensing of all OPls; sets to go after unlicensed operators

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) has completed the Pre-Qualification phase for licensing of all operators of private lotto (OPL).

Licensing of OPLs for the 2021/2022 licensing year will commence on November 1, 2021.

According to the NLA, OPls who have successfully completed the Pre-Qualification phase are to visit the head office in Accra for Licensing Application Forms and Payment Terms before October 29, 2021.

The NLA in an attempt to sanitize the lotto industry said it will collaborate with the various security agencies to go after all unlicensed lottery operators.
