The Founder of Action People’s Party (APP), Kenneth Nana Kwame has urged the people in the Ashanti Region to dismiss the notion that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is for them.
According to Kenneth Nana Kwame, the assertion that NPP is for Asanteman is baseless because they have not done anything meaningful for them despite the enormous support they get from the region.
He said the NPP despite making several promises such as building five new interchanges while in opposition are yet to complete a single one after being in power for more than 7 years.
“The notion that NPP belongs to Asanteman and Asanteman belongs to NPP is false because they have nothing to show here despite the votes they always get from here. They promised us five interchanges and they haven’t completed a single one.”
“Even Komfo Anokye hospital, it took Otumfuo to mobilize funds to get the facility fixed. Even the second phase of the Kejetia project hasn’t been done and today Bawumia is going round making promises that he already made 7 years ago,” Kenneth Nana Kwame said.
