Some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are calling on flagbearer hopeful Kennedy Ohene Agyapong to moderate his language while engaging with delegates in the Ashanti Region.
The warning comes amidst concerns that his past comments could hurt the party in the 2028 elections, just as they did in 2024.
The NPP Communication Group in the Ashanti Region emphasized the need for respectful communication, cautioning Agyapong against hate speech, insults, or divisive statements. “Such rhetoric undermines the party’s image and provides ammunition for opponents,” they said.
They urged aspirants and supporters to prioritize unity and constructive dialogue.
