There will be no strife, conflict after 7th December – Nana Addo to Mahama

The Volta Regional Youth Wing of opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) has descended heavily on the National Youth Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) Nana Boakye over his comments about former President John Mahama recently.

Mr Boakye is alleged to have described comments by former President Mahama to the effect that the Electoral Commission could plunge the country into chaos as “reckless and irresponsible.”

But in a release by the Volta Regional Youth Wing, the youth take exception to Nana Boakye’s criticism of former President John Dramani Mahama, arguing that Mr Mahama is peace-loving and determined to save the country from any chaos hence his advice to the EC to tread cautiously.

They also warned him to let that instance be the last he would use such unprintable words on the Flagbearer of the party.

For them, Nana Boakye should rather apologise to the Ghanaian youth for disappointing them by leaving them jobless instead of criticising Mr Mahama.

“The Youth wing of the NDC treats with disdain such disrespectful and spiteful comments from the National Youth Organizer of the ruling government.

One would have thought that Nana B would use such platforms to apologize to the Ghanaian youth for the failures of his government to provide decent jobs and hope for the Ghanaian Youth! With the surge in unemployment and joblessness currently in the country, Ghana is already at its tipping point and the predictable chaos that will befall this country, exacerbated by the malfeasance of Jean Mensah and her cohorts needs no mage to reveal, not to mention the absolute state capture coupled with its attendant corruption which has reached its crescendo with the President himself actively complicit in it,” the statement read in part.

The youth advised Nana Boakye to concentrate on advising President Akufo-Addo whose government, it alleges, is not delivering on its promises.

“If anybody should be advised, it should be the power-drunk all-die-be-die Akuffo-Addo whose eyes and actions shows desperation to hold onto power in the midst of his total failure and chaos,” the statement added.
