The incumbent Member of Parliament for Takoradi Constituency, Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, has expressed confidence in winning and faith in divine intervention as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Primaries take place across the nation.

Speaking to happyghana.com during his early morning observations, Hon. Okyere Darko-Mensah conveyed his optimism about emerging victorious in the parliamentary primaries.

He attributed his confidence to the well-organized campaign process and expressed gratitude for the fairness afforded to all candidates.

“I’m confident we’ll elect a credible candidate to help Dr. Bawumia win the elections for 2024. So I strongly believe that like God has always done for me, He’ll lead me to victory at the end of the day,” he remarked.

The MP for Takoradi Constituency acknowledged the smooth commencement of campaign activities and expressed satisfaction with the overall organization of the electoral process.

He emphasized that every candidate had been given a fair opportunity to present their campaign to the constituents.

“I’m happy that everything has been fairly organized for every candidate to campaign, and we’ve been able to get things through this morning, and everything will go on smoothly to the end of the process,” he affirmed.

When asked about his expectations for the day, Hon Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah confidently declared, “My only expectation for the day is that I’ll win, God dey so I’ll definitely win.”

The parliamentary primaries are a crucial step for the NPP in selecting candidates for the 2024 elections. Voting is currently underway in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Primaries in designated constituencies with a total of 321 candidates contending for tickets to represent the NPP in the 2024 parliamentary elections, while 33 of these candidates are going unopposed.
