NPP Polls: Wontumi sails through; leads Ashanti Region again

The race for chairmanship of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ended yesterday with Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wuntumi, winning the day with 464 votes. His closest rival, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Chairman COKA, came away with 306 votes. The three other contestants, namely Asare Bediako, Kwabena Owusu Aduomi and Oheneba Adum Bawua had, 20, 9 and 3 votes respectively.
