The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has taken to the streets to protest against what they describe as state-sponsored harassment and abuse of power by the government.
The 3rd Vice Chairman of the party, Alhaji Osman Masawudu in an interview with Happy Kaseɛbɔ said, NPP members are also Ghanaians, highlighting the need for fair treatment and respect for their rights.
Chairman Masawudu accused the government of abusing state power to target opposition figures and silence dissenting voices.
Chairman Masawudu believes the government’s actions are undermining democracy and the rule of law in Ghana. He called for fairness and equality in the treatment of opposition figures, emphasizing that NPP members are also Ghanaians deserving of respect and protection.
