NPP will not spend oil money on Dumelo but on Free SHS –Richard Asante

Mr. Richard Asante Yeboah has warned that the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) will not spend the oil money on celebrities like John Dumelo and co like the main opposition National Democratic Congress did with the money.
The NPP unlike NDC  will inject the oil money into the flagship educational policy Free Secondary School programme in the country to enable every child of secondary going age access education.
The member of the NPP’s communication team said other countries that have found oil are offering free university level education to create elite class.
But, what did the NDC government do with the oil money it bought land cruisers for the likes of John Dumelo, the popular actor at the expense of the ordinary Ghanaian.
Mr. Asante Yeboah served this notice when he appeared on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show hosted Mr. Afrifa –Mensah on Accra –based Happy FM.
According to him, the NPP will judiciously use the oil money to finance the Free Senior High School policy to create opportunities for the teeming youth.
He explained that there is no way the NPP will relent on the Free SHS policy as Ghanaians are being made to believe by some elements in the main opposition NDC.
He said the Free SHS has taken many school drop outs off the streets of the country.
‘Now people are finding it difficult to get hold of school drop outs to do their miniature jobs for them because many of these youth who hitherto loiter on the streets are now in the classroom.
