A communication team member of the National Democratic Congress Nichiren Appiah Buadi, has commended the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for its dignified response and demand for a full-scale investigation.

According to him, conducting an investigation into the tragedy is very important to preventing future occurrences.

Speaking in an interview on EPA HO A DABEN with Bismark Brown on Happy 98.9 Fm, the communicator stated that the NPP led by their general secretary has exhibited maturity and serious political civilisation by issuing that statement.

“The NPP’s call for transparency and accountability in this tragedy reflects true political maturity and civility,” Buadi stated, emphasizing that moments like this transcend party lines and speak to the soul of a nation.

The crash occurred on August 6, 2025, near Adansi Sikaman in the Ashanti Region.

The incident has plunged the country into mourning, with tributes pouring in from across the political spectrum.

The NPP, in its official statement, described the fallen as “eight heroes” and urged the government to launch a swift and transparent investigation.

Parliamentarians from both sides have echoed the need for unity, accountability, and support for the bereaved families.

Buadi’s praise for the NPP’s conduct underscores a shared commitment to national healing.
