The Deputy General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has taken a swipe at critics of the president’s statement that Ghanaians will take a second look at issues of gayism in the country.
Lawyer Obri Boahen, descended on people holding such view on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show hosted by Kwame Afrifa Mensah on Accra-based Happy FM.
‘People who think in this direction are nonintellectuals and must not be asked to comment on issues on national interest’ he said.
He said it is only post low politicking individuals may express such views that Ghanaians will never take a second look at the issues of gayism in the country.
”Anybody who thinks that issues of gayism will not rear its ugly head in the unforeseeable future is dreaming and lack intelligence on issues.
He explained that even though issues of gayism may not be an issue to the ordinary man on the street because even animals do not engage in gayism.
However, the people who engage in such acts can also quote portions of the Constitution to support their arguments in the country adding that this can happen in the near future.
